In August 2006 over 2000 children attended the VBS with over 350 salvations, Life Support is expecting over 7000 children to attend the VBS in July 2007.

In 2006 the women’s conference had over 200 women that attended and heard the Word of God. Many women’s lives were changed and renewed. This year we are told to expect over 1000!

In 2006 we fed over 5000 Ugandans during the VBS and women’s conference. It was our honor to feed the mind and body (just as Christ)! We are planning to do the same in 2007. But we can’t do it without your help. As you’ve noticed the number of children and women have grown, and with that, our budget, please prayerfully consider becoming a part of our team by donating to a very worthy cause.

We have a great team of missioners this year and are excited to serve for God’s Kingdom. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

What:

We are doing a 3 day VBS and then a 3 day Women’s conference. During that time we will feed all involved (we do not turn away the hungry even if not involved with the programs).

VBS

The VBS will involve, children’s activities, drama’s of the bible stories featured, gifts and feeding of the children and workers. (Last year the VBS was held in a small church. This year because of the number expected we are renting a local school for the VBS. This has greatly increased our cost.)

Women's Conference

The Women’s Conference will include a series of lessons and instruction from Shelly as well as other women on the team. All will be feed and a small gift given to all.

(The theme of the women’s conference and VBS is still in the decision process and we ask for your patience in the announcing of them.)

Lots of great Christian music, American as well as Ugandan, will accompany these programs.

Last year Pastor Tim Parker put a roof on a children’s church room so that they could have children’s lesson even in the rain. We call this our Work and Witness program. We are planning on continuing this in 2007. We will keep you posted because we usually do not know what needs to be done until we arrive in Uganda.
